A Solution is Asked

Why we protest even for a justified issue but with violent and aggressive means?
Why our people show there anger by hurting others, by damaging our assets, by taking innocent lives, by creating hazardous and scary atmosphere?

How can we stop this type of people who are responsible for all such illegal and evil acts? who are spreading an armed ; violent culture every where?

We all have the power to say "No" to violence so how can we utilize it in effective means from the early grounds on individual basis so that it may make a difference........?

How can we get rid of this developing culture?

The Change We Need

I still remember the day when our nation was in the state of transition (as we assumed), 18 February 2008, when after a long time people here voted for a change they desperately needed. The first time i was legally eligible to vote, but i did not vote. I wanted to go, but no one in my family went to vote and allowed me because they said it is of no use as we all knew the polling station nearby our area is guarded by some party workers who force people to vote for them but my one uncle did vote in the favour of change in his area.

Anyways, our nation showed a huge turn out against the existing policies and so called system. No doubt everybody delightfully surprised including beyond border countries who acknowledged our democratic skills and saw something more than their ideology of Pakistanis and Muslims. I regretted myself at that time that why i did not vote and be a part of it. Like everybody i also became hopeful that now the air around me will feel the change, the sunrise and the sunset of everyday will be more hopeful. Nothing overcomes the bulk of problems overnight but a slow step by step movement will be the cure of every disease cultivated in our society. Someday droplets of water will be a sea...
Someday, Oneday!

But instead of a progressive movement everything starts moving towards the downfall. The halt to alot of issues which was arose after the elections slowly drifted away and anarchy took its place again.
We voted for a change, for a hope, it was more important and significant than the turnout against Bush in US. Because our vote was against our pathetic system, those killing policies which were degrading us day by day. American people brought a change in the racism history of the world, which is originally the basic teachings of our religion but we tried not only to brought a change in the political history of our nation but showed the world our peaceful drive to turn all the odds into evens which were framed against us.
We lacked a leadership and we wanted it democratically. It was a big step from us towards the change. It was formed but only for a few days and then all went in vain.

I just can't understand what is going on here? Is there any clue?
I just can't see even a glimpse of any kind of proper governess here!

Power Grabbing is the motto of our elected government since the very first day. Their statements changes every other moment. Promises are nothing so why keep them.
Distributing our most honourable medals like sweets to the people who brought us to the gate way of demolition. Shaking hands and clicking photographs with all teeth out poses. Only Command and Command motive is everywhere, no Control anywhere. Largest cabinet in the history of our country is formed, still missing some most important ministries, which are missing because they are still in the process of decision making that which and who party and person will take it. Like always the faces are changed and the system and policies remained the same.
The hope we voted for dying slowly and the scenario is more worst than before.

"Panchon ungliyan ghee mei aur ser karhae mei"
is the present condition of our so called government.

Today, i have no regrets that why i didnot vote. Thank GOD for my timely decision. Because i never wanted to be a part of such a mess.

I read somewhere in the news paper column that formation of our country is a true miracle of Allah and how it is moving and still standing in the storm of issues is again a miracle.
After all HE is with us but that is not the only thing required for any betterment. Like in Urdu we say:
"Dua se pehle Dawa bhi zarori hy".
( Cure is needed before Prayer)

That cure was shown by us but sadly things are getting worst and worst. Power is the biggest examination on earth on man and in this exam our rulers may win in their personal goals but originally fail even to understand the meaning of it. They know only how to use it and don't know that it is the name of a thing which is felt by hearts and shown in the air and eyes of the society and the world. It is the Control, Not the Command!

Please Listen
We need a change
not in faces,
but in Paces!

Friends, for U....!

So many hands in 1 Lunch box

So many friends in 1 Bench

So many calls on 1 Birthday night

So many tears for one little Fight

FRIENDS are the best part of Life !

I received these lines in a text message few days ago and it took me in the memory lane of my school days. Each line tells perfectly the moments i can never forget. A group of 10 girls eat, drink, play, weep, enjoy, fight and laugh together, having no fear of being apart someday, like we will remain with each other forever. Now everyone is walking on the different ways of life, surprisingly not even any two of us have the same field but we are united by heart.

This sms left a huge warm smile on my face and tears in my eyes. A slideshow of images run through my mind echoing the sounds of friendship we had.

Miss You Yara :(

A Kick Start

8 Jan 2009 ... a bit late to wish my readers a very Happy New Year but as it is a kick start so never mind;
I Wish U All The Goodness and Happiness for the year ahead !

This year was a kick start in my personal life also as the dawn of it wasn't so good for me because i was very disappointed at that time but around the dusk of the first day my fate twisted upside down and my Lord gifted me what i truly deserve and struggle for.
Last year i'd completed my two year's Graduation and was applied in Karachi University for B.S Third year or u can call it Master's program on merit basis but my name was not appeared in initial listings and i was so disappointed because when 3 years back i applied for graduation i failed to achieved it but now, while holding distinction marks with a lot of efforts to reach their i didn't found my name in the list again, it felt like a bad hard joke.
So, when the new year's sun was rising my heart was badly sinking but than a Miracle happened, 2nd merit lists were announced and there i was!
And now i am a B.S student exploring a new era of my life with full enthusiasm having shiny twinkling stars in my eyes :)

The First Day at Uni was fabulous and a memorable one. We were welcomed by a red carpet, hmmm actually a flowered carpet reception. Boys standing alined across the gate showering rose petals on new comers as we were passing by. Than a biggest quest was started as i had to reach my department.
KU is the largest university in Pakistan, spread across 1200 acres of land that's why shuttle service is essential to move from one department to another. Luckily i found one but bad luckily it was turned in the middle of the road towards other departments. That means still half way to go so i started marching towards my department i.e; Commerce which is in the neighborhood of IBA. My yummy Kabab Paratha with Chai breakfast digested in minutes and i was feeling thorns in my throat due to thirst as i reached there. But who cares, it was just a beginning of my excitement + it was nice to walk in such a good weather.
Our seniors tried to tease us, formally called Ragging but failed as we teased them back and it was a great fun.
After Orientation class we started exploring our uni and visited many departments, all on feet, ummm not many but a few which are in the way to the famous canteen lane, where number of canteens or u can say stalls are situated one by one selling different kinds of food. So, after eating and enjoying it was time to go home by Point (Bus or Shuttle service for students to pick and drop at specific timings). It runs across the city with only Rs. 3 charges per head daily.

But my day was not ended here. When i reached home i did laundry with my mother in the flow of my excitement, which i was delaying since 4 days.
While i was telling her my chatter box stories of the day she asked:
"Chalo sath sath kapre bhi dho lo".
and i said: "acha chalen... han tu main keh rahi thi k........."

And when i realized what she did, it was a funny story for my family and a shy, smiley, stupid agreement of mine. So, in the end it was calculated that i did escaped ragging in the uni but my mother did the job proudly :D

The second day was also good with introduction classes and a lot of walking. And than 2 holidays were there.
This whole too much walking full of excitement and enthusiasm thing resulted in fever and severe muscular pain but i love it because it is what i strive for.
Tomorrow is the working day, still i can feel the pain but its all part of the game as There Is No Gain Without Pain!

Melodious Mausam

Wow... what a lovely weather today. Its raining continuously since last night.
I really love such kind of rain, smooth and silky, not too much noisy not too much silent, nor heavy neither light, just pouring with a serene melody which make me sing with its beauty.

I'm sitting beside my window, though its a little bit chill in the air but its so lovely to feel the cool breeze as it is the part of the beautiful weather package. Chirping birds, moving here and there, around the tree in front of my window. No mess of water on street only a wet land and a grey color sky. Its all so pleasant to watch and feel.

Oh, here comes the delicious treat, Daddy just brought yummy garma garam Samosas + I've a mug of coffee in my one hand which gives a mouth watering aspect to my favourite weather and my post too :p
Yuuhooo, I'm done with one samosa and my coffee so now i can type more faster than before as those hot deals were distracting me so i thought its better to take a snacky break first :)

Ok, yep so i was talking about the beauty of nature which always attract me a lot and whenever I'm in full mood to enjoy it, i just wish to save each and every moment of it in my memory.
Rainbows are the rarest scene to have in Karachi but i remember i saw once, a very light toned rainbow a few years back. i don't remember the exact date but do remember how surprising it was because that was my first experience with the colored band of sky and it was almost invisible also.
Light is fading now, I'm still beside my window, watching, inhaling, listening, feeling and trying to type my thoughts in the best of words i can find for them.

I want to share here a video which can define the thought and music inside me.
Its Kiss the Rain, Piano melody with a slideshow of real nice rain shots. I found it on YouTube months ago and posted it on my facebook account for my friends. now i'm sharing it here again.
Hope you will like it too.
